Several dining areas or varied styles are Accessible Via Ramp, including the restaurant “LONA Tequilena & Cocina,” which is completely Accessible Via Ramps and offers an outdoor patio with spectacular views. The patio is Accessible also from the drive way. The colorful flowers, throughout the restaurant as well as in the main lobby are exceptional. The South Western/Mexican influenced menu is extensive and the quality food is fresh and delicious. Private dining spaces are available. An Accessible Washroom, next to the main dining area, is conveniently available, though rather tight.
The Interior Pool Bar on the second floor is not accessible.
Attractive Sky Bridges connect the two towers of the hotel as well as provide easy access to the beach. In addition, elevators are offered on both sides of the hotel.
The lovely outdoor pool offers an Accessibility Lift, but the pool washroom is not accessible.
Fitness, wellness, treatment, and spa areas are available through a Power Entrance and Ramp walkway, with a handy Starbucks Coffee nearby.
A two level Conference Area, with Accessible Washrooms, including a unisex facility are offered. The Accessible Hotel Room critiqued, # 505, provides two double beds. In a bathroom of generous size, is found a rather small roll-in Shower Stall, width 30”, with Shower Bench. Measurements for Accessible Hotel Room in general: Closet Coat Rack at Accessible Height 33”; Room Desk Height 31.25”; Bed Height 24”; TV + Bar Height 30”; plus an Accessible level Peep Hole in door.
Overall the hotel is very pleasant. The accessible room, however, is tight, due to furniture, and the roll-in shower is only 30 inches wide, which is quite tight, even for someone not disabled. The rest of the hotel is accessible, except for certain areas of the pool washrooms, and pool bar. Washrooms in lobby and conference are accessible, though they do not offer power doors. Nice ramps to dining area and front restaurant allow ease of access.
