Epstein Family Engineering Plaza has a rear elevator accessible entrance connected to
Biegel Hall Engineering Department.

WM Keck Foundation, Photonics Research Laboratory. (See photo.) There are Four Handicap parking spots across from the photonics research center. In addition to an exterior ramp, the building offers a push button power entrance, plus ramps to access the street, and a first-floor elevator.

Ronald Tutor Campus Center. This dining area is accessible via a side ramp, along with the power accessible push button front door. Some of the food offered is Panda House, California Pizza, The Habit, and the Coffee Bean.
Steve and Kathryn Sample Hall, which is a student center. There is a front push button power entrance, and. Inside, a first-floor elevator, and first-floor accessible washrooms. (See photos.)

Student Union Building, (See photo.) an older building, which has been renovated well, offers a push button power entrance, along with two elevators that connect the five floors. This building houses the USC Credit Union, plus a pharmacy, and an event ticket office.

Edward L. Doheny Jr. Memorial Library. Although the front entrance is not accessible, there is a rear side ramp, which enters through a side basement door. There are ten handicap accessible parking spots outside the rear entrance. The library, is accessed via elevators, which connect the floors nicely for the age of the building.

John R. Hubbard Hall, Student Administrative Services. (See exterior photo.) This is an older building which has been made accessible, offering an accessible front lift, and a push button power door. Building was closed, at time of tour.

Leavey Library, is the newest library on the campus. The building offers an accessible front entrance, with a ramp and a push button power door. The library offers accessible washrooms, and elevators throughout. There is also an extensive front patio. Both sides of the library have accessible fire escape ramps.

Cecele and Michael C. Birnkrant Residential Hall is an accessible dorm. There is a front ramp entrance, plus a push button power front entrance. There is also an accessible front parking spot. Starbuck’s coffee is available in the same building via a different entrance with a small patio, but without a power entrance.

There are a few parking garages on the campus – one at the front of the Royal Street structure. (See photo.)

The Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work offers a front ramp entrance, plus the front door is push button power accessible.

Barbara and Roger Rossier School of Education at Phillips Hall is a sky rise building which is power accessible, from the push button front entrance. The accessible interior offers three elevators, and first floor accessible washrooms.

Mark Taper Hall of Humanities offers a push button power entrance, along with an elevator. In the lobby there are convenient vending machines.

Lyons Student Recreational Center offers power censor front doors, plus a cafe area in the front lobby. An elevator is available, to make gym, weight room, and basketball court accessible.

USC School of Cinematic Arts front entrance offers a ramp, and push button power doors. (See photo.) At the time of the tour the building was closed.

Summary

The University of Southern California rates a nine out of ten for accessibility. The campus is very accessible, offering many new and older accessible renovated buildings. The campus is completely flat.
