The newly built Hyatt Place, Boulder, constructed in 2015, is located within 1 to 5 miles of various campuses of the University of Colorado Boulder. Parking is available, via metered street parking, as well as at a parking garage. From handicap parking, provided in the garage, it is a long, but totally flat distance to the entrance. One enters through a power front door to be welcomed at a front desk of accessible height, 33.50”. Near the front desk is an accessible Business Center Area with desk height 30”. The hotel offers a total of eight conference rooms on various floors. On the first floor is a large forum area. A smaller meeting room is right across from the elevator on the second floor with a nearby accessible washroom. Twenty four hour dining is available, plus there is an accessible bar in the dining area, height 33”, with an ATM nearby.
Out of 150 rooms in the hotel, 11 are accessible. Accessible rooms offer Kings and Queens, one on each of the four floors and as well as an accessible suite. The hotel offers two rooms with roll in showers. The additional accessible rooms have shower tubs. There is no Hearing Compliant Room.
