Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, part of the State University of New York, occupies a 930-acre campus.  It consists of six schools, the largest being the Harpur College of Arts and Science.  The university has a total student body of 14,333, of whom 3,814 are graduate students.  Binghamton University employs 759 full-time faculty.

Admissions Center

The Admissions Center houses the Admissions Office, the Financial Aid Department, and a few classrooms.  The building offers eight handicapped-accessible parking spots at its rear and three to its side.  

The Admissions Center is completely accessible, offering a push-button power-accessible door and accessible washrooms.  Its classrooms provide assistive listening devices.  The building appears newly constructed.

Glen G. Bartle Library

The library features push-button accessible front doors.  An ample 18 handicapped-accessible parking spaces are located near the library’s lower level, and an entrance near these spaces is a push-button power door.  Furthermore, the library’s interior doors are push-button power entrances.

The main part of the library is divided into four floors, connected by two elevators.  Each floor contains accessible washrooms.

Glen G. Bartle Library Tower

The Glen G. Bartle Library Tower contains the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities.  The tower features push-button power-accessible doors at its side, and provides elevators.

University Union

The University Union has push-button accessible doors at all entrances.  Elevators service all of the union’s three floors plus basement.

The union contains the university’s bookstore, the student lounge, and numerous dining options.  Vision Credit Union is located in the University Union, including a Vision ATM.

Engineering Building

The Engineering Building provides push-button accessible front doors, except for the upper entrance.  The building’s interior also features push-button accessible doors.  An elevator connects all three of its floors.

In addition to a parking garage nearby, nine handicapped-accessible parking spaces are located in front of the building.

Rockefeller Center Building B

Rockefeller Center Building B offers only one handicapped-accessible parking spot in front.  The building has a push-button accessible entrance.  Its first floor provides accessible washrooms.

This dining area houses a grill and an Einstein Brothers Bagels.  It features a push-button accessible door for its front entrance.
