Courtyard Marriott/Burlington Harbor feels very much like a boutique hotel. Easy access to the water front, as well as fantastic views of Lake Champlain are popular attractions. The hotel is also conveniently central to the downtown area of Burlington. Of the hotel’s total of one hundred and sixty one rooms, eight are accessible. Seven of the rooms have two queen size beds, while one offers a king size bed. All accessible rooms have roll-in showers. Emergency phones are provided in each bathroom. The bedrooms offer additional connecting doors to the adjacent rooms if needed. Accessible rooms also offer peep holes at a wheelchair comfortable height to see through the exterior door.
The front lobby is conveniently accessed via an elevator from the first floor, or through power doors, off of Cherry Street. The front desk is handicap accessible, and there is a flat screen television providing guests with information on local attractions. The first floor of the hotel is accessible via the parking garage, which has a power door, though the entrance off Battery Street is not a power accessible door. Four accessible underground parking spots close to the underground entrance of the hotel are provided. Valet service is available, at a surcharge. Additional handicap parking is located outside of the underground parking garage.
The hotel offers a lovely indoor pool and hot tub, both accessible via a lift. An accessible unisex bathroom is located just outside the pool. A well-supplied fitness room, open twenty four hours a day, is also available, offering free weights, and exercise machines.
Attractive conference rooms and a business center are accessible and available. Both a restaurant known as “Blue,” and a snack area are conveniently located. There is also a bar and lounge area, just off the lobby. From all angles the restaurant, bar and lounge offer great views of the lake. An attractive outdoor pavilion is found to the rear of the building, with a waterfall and a fire pit. Service dogs are welcome, and the hotel is a smoke free environment.
