The DoubleTree by Hilton has accommodations for the disabled. There is a parking garage, but only two accessible parking spaces, which are across the street from the hotel. In lieu of this, there is valet parking offered. The front door is powered, accessible, and touchless. The front desk is at a height of 48 inches, which is also easily accessed. In the lobby, one can find an ATM and Starbucks. The hotel is in an attractive Neo-Gothic Design. There is a first-floor accessible washroom, however, the spacing is rather tight. There is also a restaurant on the first floor called Jacob’s, which serves American fare. There are three elevators servicing all sixteen floors, braille signage throughout the hotel, and a pool on the second floor with an ADA lift. Amenities within the hotel include a very pleasant conference room, a fitness area, and an office area with one computer. The desk in the office area sits at 31.50 inches on the top and 25.25 inches on the bottom. On the roof sits a bar and restaurant called EVE on Adams. As far as rooms, there are a whopping 23 accessible rooms with 12 rooms for the hearing impaired. Three rooms have roll-in showers. Altogether, the DoubleTree By Hilton is very clean, accessible, and hosts an extremely friendly staff. We have not rated this hotel.
