The ample accessibility that Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse offers to handicapped guests strikes one before even entering. The parking lot provides eight up-front accessible parking spaces, and the front door is touchless power-accessible. Once inside, the front desk stands at an accessible height of 34 inches. The first floor features accessible washrooms, although without power doors.
The hotel’s five floors, linked by two elevators, contain twenty accessible rooms. Furthermore, Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse features Braille signage. Ten of the accessible rooms have a roll-in shower; five are equipped for the hearing-impaired. We stayed in accessible Room #327. Its door has an accessible peephole, but its bathroom lacks an emergency phone.
