Criser Hall

Criser Hall houses Enrollment Management for the University of Florida.  It offers a push-button accessible entrance.  The building was closed at the time of our visit.

Marston Science Library

The library provides a push-button accessible entrance.  Two elevators connect the building’s five floors.  A Starbucks adjoins the library on the first floor.  Accessible washrooms are located on the various floors, and computers are available throughout the library.

The Racquet Club houses a dining facility called Cravings Campus Kitchen.  The building offers a designated accessible entrance with an accessible push-button door.  It was closed at the time of our tour.

Summary

The University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida rates a 9 out of 10 for accessibility. Many of the university’s buildings, new as well as old, are accessible thanks to push-button doors and elevators. At the time of our tour, most of the campus was closed for Martin Luther King Weekend.
