When reviewed in January 2018 the Hyannis Double Tree by Hilton featured the following attractions:

Approaching the hotel, visitors will find three accessible up front parking spots and a touch-less  power front door. Once inside the attractive entrance offers an accessible front desk, height 36”. The welcoming main lobby provides  inviting coffee and sitting areas.

In addition to room service, food options include two spacious restaurants,  a bar, and an attractive outdoor patio, plus pool side tables.

Out of a total of one hundred sixty rooms, eight are handicap accessible. Of these, two have roll-in showers. Accessible rooms toured: #s 301, 303, 304.

Accessible Room  # 301 Measurement Details:

• King size bed, height 26”
• Bedside table, height 28”
• Desk, height 30”
• TV, Desk height 41”
• Doorway entrance 35”

Overall negatives regarding room 301 include it’s tightness and the inaccessible bathroom. The large bathtub has hand rails, but no shower wand, and there are no toilet bars. The closet hanging bar height is 64.05”, not an accessible height. The room does not have a connecting door to an adjacent room, nor does it have an accessible peephole in the door.

Room does not have door to connecting room, but accessible height peep hole is present on entrance door.

Conference Rooms are available. The largest of these, the Regatta Room, is the one toured. It has neither power doors, nor power accessible washrooms.

The hotel offers both an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, both of which are accessible. A large well equipped gym is available.

There are no rear, power accessible entrances, though ramps are present.
