Just one block from LAX, this attractive contemporary style hotel provides amazingly quiet downtown comfort. There is a valet at the front door, or you can park yourself at a parking garage less than a hundred yards away. Quik Park is located to the rear of the hotel, providing twenty-two handicap accessible parking spots on the first floor, with a total of seven floors. There are also seven outdoor, handicap accessible parking spots between the hotel and the parking garage.
The front entrance of the hotel offers two nice accessible curb cuts to the front door, which is a touch less power censored accessible door. (See photo.)
Once inside, the hotel is clean, accessible, friendly, and the interior design is tasteful and done well. The welcoming front desk is completely accessible. The front Lobby, which is spacious, offers a bar lounge, a formal dining area and a café, known as Unity LA Cafe. The lobby area offers accessible washrooms, which do not have power accessible entrances. There are four large main elevators, which connect all the floors.
There are numerous conference rooms in the hotel, along with a large ballroom on the second floor. A computer area is available, on the second floor with a desk height of (29.75’).
The Penthouse Floor, which is accessible, via a lift located a few feet from the main elevator, offers a fitness area, along with numerous conference rooms. There is also a main banquet room on this floor. A large year-round outdoor heated pool is available for your exercise and relaxation.
Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport offers eighteen handicap accessible rooms, all of which have both roll-in showers and shower tubs. Braille signage is offered throughout the hotel.
