The Hampton Inn at Johnson City, New York is a clean, accessible hotel with very friendly staff. With three accessible parking spaces, touchless powered entry to the front lobby, and a 33 inch high front desk, many can feel welcome here. There is an accessible restroom on the first floor, a central elevator connecting every floor, and braille signage throughout the hotel.
There are four accessible rooms (while none are equipped for the hearing impaired) and one has a roll in shower. While there is no conference room, there is a business area with a desk at a 40 inch height. For the aquatic visitor, there is a pool with an ADA lift and emergency phone.
One accessible room (#105) toured featured a king sized bed, low peephole, roll in shower, and a door that connected the adjacent room.

The second accessible room we toured, number 109, hosted two queen size beds (one 16” from the wall and one 26”), with a spacious aisle between them for wheelchair access. Though we have not rated the Hampton Inn in Johnson City, New York, it is convenient to the University of Binghamton, and close to a Wegmans grocer.
